Trekker's are amazed by Annapurna peak in Nepal after an all-night snowstorm. The peaks were completely socked in with clouds when we woke up, but miraculously cleared up in time for the sunrise.

Climbers descend from Camp One on Mount Everest into the infamous Khumbu Icefall. This statistically is the most dangerous section of the climb, as the huge seracs and crevasses contort and groan throughout the day.

Ama Dablam
Photograph by Michael Maher, My Shot
Ama Dablam is a 22,349-foot (6,812-meter) mountain in the Himalaya range. Ama Dablam means "mother's necklace," as the long ridges on each side are like the arms of a mother protecting her child. The hanging glacier is thought of as the dablam, the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women. This is the sunset view near the Sir Edmund Hillary school in Khumjung, Nepal.
