2007 Review:
Mountain Travel Sobek built its reputation on being the first: It led 67 first descents of major rivers, pioneered trekking in Bhutan and Nepal, and was the first commercial outfitter to lead Kilimanjaro treks. Itineraries run the gamut, from a leisurely hiking trip between wine cellars in northern Italy to a hundred-mile walking safari across the African savanna.
