Great article. I've found "SLO Town" to be one of the most charming and fun places I've ever visited. There's so much to do there in such a beautiful, natural environment. The Chamber of Commerce website www.visitslo.com, has a huge amount of useful information about local attractions and how to find them.

San Luis is a great town to have a long weekend. Its kind of like Boulder.

We stayed just south of SLO as the locals call it in Pismo Beach! The SeaCrest Resort was all it was cracked up to be. Ocean views at a great price and just 10 minutes south of SLO.

If you can eat at Novo Cafe and drink at Blue!

Great local wine as well!
