I'm willing to bet that the person who posted the negative about Ellijay is just upset because of the lack of indoor activities my guess that person is sloth like.
Ellijay has some of the best ST MTB trails in the southeast in Bear creek, Pinhoti 1,2 and 3 not to mention wilma, tibbs and stanley gaps if you like backcountry MTB this is an outdoor/MTB mecca and it is far under rated

Ellijay is remote, and not worth the drive. Little culture and evident of stagnate South.
