Coralville Reservoir's Sugar Bottom recreation area is one of the top 50 mountain biking trails in the country. This single track trail system is well maintained with Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced trail difficulties. Lake MacBride State Park is also a must for the Iowa City adventurer. This picturesque man made lake has excellent fishing year round, well maintained primitive and modern campsites nestled in true Midwestern Oak woodlands, cross country ski trails, and kayak and boat rentals

If the Coralville Lake is close enough to mention, then surely so is Lake MacBride. That place alone is heaven on earth for any outdoor lover.

Don't forget the boutique shops and art galleries! It's often said that if you can't find it in Iowa City, you probably can't find it in the Midwest. While that's probably true on many levels, it's especially true for shoppers.
Enjoy - Iowa City is truly an oasis in the Midwest.
