Hatties burg is a great town, a blend of old and new. One and a half hours from New Orleans, Mobile and the Mississippi Gulf Coast its location is prime. Home of the University of Southern Mississippi there is plenty to do, from sports to theatre to symphony. Outstanding local eateries and a world class brew pub to boot. Several nearby creeks and the Longleaf Trace Rails to trails round out the endless possibilities. A highly recommended area to visit or live.

If you enjoy a good beer, something off the beaten path, then The Keg and Barrel on Hardy Street is a must with over 55 beers on tap plus that many more in the bottle, they have something for all taste buds. The menu is diverse with something for all as well. I have been there many times and have never been let down
