FYI- Flow is cool, but it doesn't have a farm or a bakery. It's just a cool restaurant in a funky gallery.

This area is where Bushkill Falls and 7 other water falls are located. It is termed the "Niagara of Pennsylvania". That will give you an idea of how beautiful it is. It get's very crowded in the summer and holiday weekends. The best time to see this is early fall.

I am surprised that you did not mention whitewater canoeing, kayaking and rafting on the Lehigh River. It is a beautiful class III whitewater river where die hards can find class IV routes.

Don't forget the whitewater in the Lehigh Gorge! Plenty of place to raft and kayak. Some excellent waves to surf! Whitewater Challengers is an excellent outfitter.

Being a Jim Thorpe resident, I am proud that our town makes this list yet again. Adventures abound in the mountains surrounding town

we really love jim thorpe and enjoy many weekends there. the presence of drive in movies in summer, a new farmer's market and many outdoor adventures are a huge plus....plus there is a wonderful restaurant just up 903 5 miles from the bridge across the lehigh...trattoria 903 is a hidden gem with wonderful italian food, prepared by a masterful chef in a strip shopping center. dont miss it...also take in a concert at the opera house. there is full schedule of musical events year round.
