We hiked Cadillac Mountain. Bar Harbor is a true gem. The Native American culture is a true welcome.

A new Sea Kayak Tour service that recently opened is Acadia Park Kayak Tours. They are limiting their group sizes to just six are taking steps to be an eco-friendy/sustainable business in ways that most of the other sea kayak outfitters have yet to adopt. http://www.acadiaparkkayak.com

A great way to explore Acadia National Park is by bicycle. Sojourn Bike Tours arranges a fantastic week-long bike vacation based out of Bar Harbor. Ocean-front rooms serve as your base to explore the scenic loop road as well as the rustic carriage roads. Sojourn Bike Tours can be found at www.GoSojourn.com. Highly recommended.

I'd love to see your take on the North Cascades National Park in Washington State. It's one of the National Parks closest to a large population base yet one of the least explored and most wild.
