I can thoroughly recommend Kayaking the River Jordan. Some narrow bits accompanied by some sweet rapids. Best of all it's not overcrowded!

I have been to Kenya once, Tanzania twice and am hooked. Africa, her people and animals are amazing. I am hoping to go again this year.

Thanks for the article. Nepal is not only best for treking and mountaineering, but also best for rafting and kayaking activities.I can guarantee that you can kiss 6 rapids in the rivers of Nepal which combines enormous adventures for professional kayakers. If you go to Nepal, never miss white water rafing in the rivers of Nepal. Treking to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) and White water Rafting in half a dozen of rivers is world's best in Nepal. In addition,Nepalese have also big heart for tourists!!

Thanks for the fantastic list - I get National Geographic and Traveler, but I might need to look into an Adventure subscription as well. Having just gotten back from a few weeks in Hunan and Guanxi, China, it looks like I might need to rack my brain to come up with a few good reasons for my boss about why some time in Kamchatka or Jordan might make me a better internet marketer....
