When you are finished climbing, I suggest that you stay at the Wyoming Inn of Jackson Hole for a good night's sleep! With fresh cookies every night and the most comfortable beds ever, it was the perfect place for me to recover.
I also enjoyed eating at Dornans (if you want a view of the climb) or Billy's (if you just want a good burger).
The climb itself is the perfect adventure: challenging, but achievable. Beautiful, but rugged. Boy, the altitude just about knocked me out though!

I passed through Jackson Hole 21 years ago on a motorcycle trip, and spent two days climbing. Rod Newcomb guided me up Baxter's Pinnacle one of those days. I just came across the Exum Certificate the other day and was wondering if Rod was still around. GREAT way to find out via National Geographic! Yep, Rod's style has not changed.
