Unfortunately, a lot of the basic where and how information is factually wrong. Even mileages. Two examples: Torrey is 5 miles from Chimney Rock trailhead

I agree about the "budget" adventures. It would be great to read about adventures that are actually affordable for those of us without a 6-figure paycheck.

Considering the current state of the economy it would be a great service to your readers to provide more articles on "budget" adventures. The reason I originally subscribed was for your quick an cheap adventures out of country. We're not all Wall Street affluent!

I agree, I canceled my subscription to this magazine because it is more of an advertising rag for high-end out-of-reach adventure outfitters and resorts than a true hub of communication about outdoor adventures. What a disappointment from National Geographic!
