I just traveled to Australia with the National Geographic Student Expedition group. It was a trip of a lifetime. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park was phenomenal!

My grandparents travel to Australia to visit my grandmother's son and family. I get to here about their adventures and it makes me want to go. This post talked about some of the same locations that they have told me about. Happy travels some day I will visit Australia.

I did this exact trip with a couple of good friends in college when I was doing a study abroad program in Wollongong, Australia. It has remained one of our most prized memories of our time in Australia. Our favorite parts are still sleeping underground in Coober Pedy, running down Uluru (Ayers Rock), kayaking the Katherine Gorges and finishing the trip with a relaxing couple of days in Darwin. If you had one trip to do in Australia, this would be it.
