Circles of Wine at the Volcano
Lanzarote is the most unique of the Canary Islands. Here, the volcanic landscape shows as nowhere else. Yet,Lanzarote has its own wine region, Le Geria, a sort of moonlike landscape with small craters in which vines grow, protected from the wind by small lava-walls - a truly unique part of the world which is protected by Unesco. More important: the wines are realy good! The wine region encompasses some 20 wineries
