Lanzarote is the most unique of the Canary Islands. Here, the volcanic landscape shows as nowhere else. Yet,Lanzarote has its own wine region, Le Geria, a sort of moonlike landscape with small craters in which vines grow, protected from the wind by small lava-walls - a truly unique part of the world which is protected by Unesco.
