As a resident of Yosemite since the early 70s, I was extremely dissappointed by the authors ideas of what the ultimate Yosemite experience would be. Has anyone thought about the carbon footprint a visit to the high Sierra camps would be? There are flush toilets in the backcountry! Where does that wastewater go? It goes into a septic tank, and to empty those tanks when they are full, they fly sewage out in 55 gallon drums by helecopter.
