We did the whole trip with the money it would have cost to fly in to Belize City. We did have a bit of an advantage, my wife is from Belize. But that only helped when we stayed at her Mom's place. That might have been 4 nights. We also went to Sarteneja, Caye Caulker, Lamanai.
It was like the Amazing Race, fly Toronto to Cozumel, ferry to Playa del Carmen, Bus to Chetumal, bus to OrangeWalk. The funny thing was the bus driver at Chetumal knew my wife.

Great Time... Would do it again tomorrow.
