Aire Super Puma Raft (Air Floor)

After taking their boats to several fly fishing trade shows, AIRE was swamped with requests from private fisherman and professional guides for a larger Puma. They all agreed that Puma provides the performance of a drift boat, but they wanted more capacity and room. So AIRE added the Super Puma to thier line and made it a full 13 feet long. The Super Puma easily accommodates one guide and five paddlers. Combined with a small NRS skidguard frame or the popular NRS fishing frame, the Super will make a great casting platform.

Great boat
Wanted a smaller boat for paddle rafting (R2 and up) as well as a small oar boat. The super puma is considerably narrower than most 13' boats. While this might make it slightly less stable side to side it also makes it extremely agile. The boat's rocker also adds to its agility. I love aire boats. I might never need to patch it, but the zipper/bladder system promises to make repair a breeze. Patching hypalon correctlly, in inclement weather is major PITA #which I will now be avoiding#. Aire's warranty is the best in the business. Oh yeah, and Altrec rocks with free shipping and excellent customer service.

Awesome raft, and Altrec provides excellent service.
Received raft incredibly quick from Altrec and undamaged. Raft is awesome, The Pumas are by far the fastest easy to manuever of all the 12-14 foot rafts. With only kayaking experience, my first guiding experience was on class 4 run in the Super Puma and I made it without incident and I credit the responsiveness of the raft for making up for my lack of guiding experience.

this is one awesome raft
I have paddeled this on the Chattooga and it has done great. The self bailing aspect is so freakin' awesome. Great boat and a great buy!

great size for boney water
I have only had the raft for a week, but have had the opportunity to run some white-water and found its size great for boney water!
