Arc'teryx Blade 24 Backpack

While most Arc'teryx gear is often associated with backcountry climbing and mountaineering, they do make excellent commuter packs--like this Arc'teryx Blade 24 Backpack. Great as an alternative to a business briefcase or daytrip carry-on, the Arc'teryx Blade 24 Backpack offers 24 liters of carrying space and has an adjustable internal laptop sleeve/protector with enough room to accommodate a latop computer with a 15-inch screen. A hidden passport/boarding pass security pocket inside the backpanel allows you to keep essential papers and currency close at hand, but not in a location that's obvious to thieves and snoops. Other features include a lined top pocket for your PDA, MP3 player and cellular phone. A separate front pocket has a quick-access organizer for pens, pencils, USB flash drives and other small workplace essentials.

Superior Backback
I had purchased the blade 24 backpack for my daughter, and she loved this backpack. When I needed a new one for myself I decided to purchase the Blade 24 for myself. It is very convenient to use, as you can access the compartments like a messenger bag. There is a top compartment where you can place your wallet or power brick for your laptop. A 15 inch laptop fits perfectly in the back compartment, and is well protected. The backpack is durable, good looking, and convenient to carry. I would not hesitate to recommend this backpack.

Superbly functional for heavy travel.
I work overseas and have quite a few tactical packs, but wanted something that would serve me both while in Afghanistan and during trips in and out of the country on leave and work travel. I chose the Arc'teryx Blade 24 for its multiple compartments (both large and small), its conventional look and and its multiple carry handles so I can grab it while it is standing horizontally or vertically (when running through airports or carrying multiple bags, this is a great feature for me). The laptop slot fits a 15" laptop max. My laptop is a little larger, but it fits fine in the other side of the laptop partition. You can always go for the Blade 30 if you have a larger laptop. It has a fitted design that took a bit for me to get used to as all my other day packs can be overstuffed when necessary. The benefit of the fitted design is it fits much easier in aircraft overheads and under seats. The downside is I can't jam my DSLR and lens or my hard Oakley sunglass case in it. The zippers are high quality and are nested so prying fingers would have a hard time getting easy access into the compartments. This is my go-to global travel pack now and I feel a little less conspicuous without a carry on pack that has webbing sewn on every inch of the outside;)

Multi-use pack
It could be used in many ways. I could use it as my laptop pack . And it could contain many items when I am go to trip. Moreover, it 's so durable and is very suitable for business day. although it's heavier than I thought. Like other Arc'teryx items, it has a high quality. I am satisfied with it and its performance.

Sleek pack for in-bounds skiing
I purchased this pack to stash some small electronics, extra layers, tools, snacks and beverages while skiing in- bounds and some side country. Due to the low profile of this pack, I was able to sit pretty comfortably on any of the chairlifts. The pack is so light and ergonomically designed that I barely notice I'm wearing it while skiing. As with all Arcteryx products, it's smartly designed, well crafted and expensive. The red colored lining provides a nice contrast when you're trying to fish out small items buried in the pack. A 13" MacBook fits easily in the laptop compartment and the pack can be handled like a briefcase for easy access to your laptop. Capacity is more coach than first class, so you really need to edit your stash smartly. Speaking of travel, this pack works great as a small carryon due to the ease of access to your stuff.

Laptop Carrier
Great tool. Nicely made. Strong, attractive and versatile. What more could you ask for in a computer bag. Keeps the rain out too.
