Arc'teryx Men's Fission SL Jacket

The lightest in their insulated waterproof lineup, the Arc'teryx Men's Fission SL Jacket uses the highest quality materials available and a streamlined design to keep you warm, dry and performing at optimal levels when you're in the mountains. An exterior shell constructed with Gore-Tex Pro Shell 2-layer fabric keeps you dry and non-quilted ThermaTek insulation is laminated inside to eliminate baffles and cold spots. The fully insulated, helmet-compatible storm hood adjusts for customized coverage and a 2-way waterproof zipper up front accommodates climbing gear while a snap at the bottom maintains protection from the elements. Watertight pit zips are there for ventilation when activity levels pickup.

Including the simple features you need cutting out extraneous bells and whistles, this non-nonsense winter jacket has 2 exterior pockets with laminated zippers and 2 large drop-in mesh pockets inside. The bottom hem has a one-hand adjustable drawcord to seal out snow and icy wind and the cuffs have laminated, die-cut Velcro tabs that won't catch or tear off and reduce bulk. Articulated elbows and an athletic fit reduce bulk too, and still give you room to layer up underneath and move when you're swinging a tool. Men's Arcteryx Fission SL Jacket
Very light, stylish, well fitting, yet warm. Best in technical wear. Have not had it long so could not attest to durability but it should last long if taken care of. Has become my favorite jacket to wear when cold. It is incredibly light yet provides ample amount of warms. Not the overheating type but just comfortable. Seems to self regulate since I can wear it comfortably even in indoors. I will use it for skiing as well as regular wear when going around town since it is quite stylish. No frills jacket. Pure purpose!

The best jacket
When you purchase this jacket before, you won't understand a jacket can so fascinating. This jacket warmth retention property is very good and very light weight. I like black, because black can let me keep calm. If you want to be a top outdoor sports person, buy it!

Excellent jacket
The best jacket, hands down, that I have ever owned. Although I would have preferred some more pockets and some more gadgets in it (especially the sleeves could have been improved IMO), but that's OK I prefer to go for the overall excellent quality and sturdiness rather than flimsy gadgets and "bells & whistles". Yes, the jacket is rather spartan, but built with the finest materials, and very solidly executed. One of the main reasons to choose this model for me was the availability of the XS size. That was a great choice as it fits me perfectly and don't need heavy layering underneath #fall here in Scandinavia is around 48F# and can bike to work with it, no problem. Sure it is a lot of money thrown into one single jacket, but so far it seems like the investment was well worth it. This piece will serve me well for many winter days, for many years.

Awesome jacket, As for me, it's the best Arc'teryx jacket, of course, its price is most expensive. But it is absolutely worth with its price. Due to its materials , it's waterproof. secondly, its insulation has a high tech, it's very warm in winter. Moreover, it looks so cool and has a very high quality, I love it very much.

light and warm
This used to be the most expensive jacket arc'teryx put out, yet it is worth every penny. Very light, but super warm and comfortable. Waterproof outer shell makes it perfect for winter activities. The cut is a bit thinner than my other jackets, so I can't put much thermal layer under it. But I really don't need to put much under, because it is so toasty warm. I wish there were more colors to choose from when I bought it.
