Arc'teryx Men's Stingray Jacket
In years past skiing and climbing enthusiasts didn't readily associate any sort of GORE-TEX fabric with anything but waterproof outerwear, but this Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket will certainly change old notions. It's made with a new softer and quieter GORE-TEX Soft Shell Low Loft fabric that breathes better than previous GORE-TEX membranes but doesn't compromise the waterproof protection. Unlike the tapered cut on the Women's Stingray Jacket, the Men's Stingray Jacket has a relaxed cut to maximize your middle layering potential. The Stingray is primarily oriented for big mountain resort adventures and features extras like a removable Drop Hood and Recco Reflectors. Laminated pit zips beneath the sleeves give you extra breathing potential for any sunny hikes up to untracked bowls. If you're considering pants, the Arc'teryx Stingray Pant is a perfect match.
- Waterproof, highly breathable 730 GORE-TEX® Soft Shell Low Loft fabric

Well Made
I took the stingray on lots of trips and it has proven to be a great jacket.Very wind/weather proof. I have owned a number of jackets and the Acrteryx product seems very well made.
nice jacket
I loved the styling and material - i am 5.10 / 175 and I am stuck between a medium and large due to broad shoulders and long torso, so i had to return as it's a lot of $$$ to spend on something that does not fit perfectly.
Worth the money!!!
I got this shell and it is pretty good!! Nice and water proof and wind proof. I have had it for about a month now. I was wearing it while I was doing some farm work with the tractor and it was nice and warm with the snow falling. I got the Mohogany color and it is really nice. I am 5'8" 165 and med fits like a glove with my med hercules.
Great jacket
Just got back from a week's skiing in the French Alps, where temps and wind chills were much more frigid than usual. The jacket kept me warm with only two other layers. Also turns out that Arc'teryx is one of the hottest brands in Europe (where gear is much more expensive than here). Great purchase.
No Regrets
It took me awhile to pull the trigger on a shell that costs this much but I'm glad I did. It looks great, fits great and lives up to all the claims. Just gave it the full test on a backcountry snowboard trip and surpassed all expectations. Waterproof, windproof, nice vent zips and the powder skirt worked like a charm. Love it. I'm 5'11", 180 lbs and the medium fits great.
