Awesome jacket
I love this jacket & practically live in it. I wasnt sure on sizing so ordered both the S & M, but ended up keeping the M. Im 5'4" & 115lbs with a wide back & broad shoulders. Although the S fitted there wasnt enough room for layering. (Too tight around the chest) The M looked great & is still fitted enough to use as a mid layer piece. The fleecy lining keeps you warm & snug but without overheating. Its very versitile. I wear it climbing (although its almost too nice for that!) biking & hiking in the cold, & am looking forward to wearing it as a mid layer when skiing.

The Best of Both Worlds in One Jacket
Achieving the balance between warmth and breathability is difficult. We usually have to give up one for the other. This jacket strikes the perfect balance. Powershield itself is a great fabric technology: it breaks the wind so that you don't get cut down by a chill, yet allows the jacket to breath very well. In my mind powershiled is the best membrane/technology. But with the Hyllus you get two additional benefits: It is welded to a fleece and thus is a high loft variant of powershield. Most soft shells usually are basic stretchy jackets that work well for breathability and are decent but not stellar for warmth. This jacket comprises both qualities. No more having to choose between your fleece jacket or your soft shell. You've got both in one jacket. Thus you've got no only more weather protection than a fleece jacket alone, but you've got Arcteryx style to boot. Moreover, this jacket is a great stand alone but can also function as a mid layer under the right shell, for a great combo when the rain or harsh cold comes around. Take this spring skiing and try to work up a sweat and then hit the downhill--never too hot and never cold. This Arcteryx jacket is worth money.

Love this jacket!
My family has a mild obsession with Arc'Teryx and this jacket does not disappoint! It is of wonderful quality - warm, soft pile fleece on the inside, and a beautiful stretchy softshell material on the exterior. I have the cranberry/fuschia color and love it. It has great weather resistance, but haven't yet tried it in a downpour. I am of average height and weight (about 5'5", 135, 34D) and typically wear a small to medium in jackets. I ordered both sizes in this, but kept the small - it's a little snug across the chest but still has plenty of room for layering pieces underneath. I wish it were slightly longer, but still hits at the top of my hips, so it's not short. All in all, I would definitely buy this jacket again - it's one of my favorites!

THE BEST!
I hemmed and hawed before buying this jacket. Wow! A great Arcteryx piece that is worth every penny,(I did happen to wait long enough for it go on sale). It is light as a feather yet very warm. The XS is perfect! As a small person (5'3)it is nice when a company makes their XS to fit as such. I love this jacket and I am very impressed with Arcteryx in general. Highly recommended!
