In years past skiing and climbing enthusiasts didn't readily associate any sort of GORE-TEX fabric with anything but waterproof outerwear, but this Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket will certainly change old notions. It's made with a new softer and quieter GORE-TEX Soft Shell Low Loft fabric that breathes better than previous GORE-TEX membranes but doesn't compromise the waterproof protection. Unlike the relaxed fit on the Men's Stingray Jacket, the Women's Stingray Jacket has sleeker lines with a slightly tapered cut around the torso that won't rob you of any middle layering potential. The Stingray is primarily oriented for big mountain resort adventures and features extras like a removable Drop Hood and Recco Reflectors. Laminated pit zips beneath the sleeves give you extra breathing potential for any sunny hikes up to untracked bowls. If you're considering pants, the Arc'teryx Stingray Pant is a perfect match.

Favorite jacket!!
Great rainproof jacket, fits well....love it!! The color goes with almost everything. The jacket is very soft, while still being extremely waterproof.

SOFT SHELL
The gore-tex soft shell is the BEST! I like it more than pro shell. Because I like skiing very much,the jacket is more thicker than anyother gore-tex jacket.

A Great Jacket
I bought this jacket as a gift for my girlfriend and she's worn it nearly nonstop- due to the winter cold- and she hasn't lodged a single complaint against it yet. As the winter wears on, I'm sure she'll appreciate its high quality and durability even more.

best jacket I have owned
I am an avid snowboarder, hiker, and outdoor enthusiasts. My ex-boyfriend bought me this jacket for last valentines day. I can wear this jacket for all seasons for any activity I am doing. The only negative is the zipper is a little awkward around the chin if your wearing a turtle neck. Otherwise this is the best present I have received!
