Aerios 7 Daypack (Lichen)
I purchased the 7L Aerios Daypack with the intention of using it as a go-to bag for my daily bicycle commute. I was looking for something minimal into which I could pack my bicycle lock, road tools, a few spare tubes, a patch kit, tire levers, etc., as well as my wallet, ID, cash, tobacco (yes, tobacco), a pair of spare lightweight shorts and shirt, and possibly even a pair of shoes. The bag is definitely on the small side, but the bungee system allows for a certain amount of expansion. I was able to pack all of the items I mentioned into the bag at once, with the exception of the shoes, which I placed on the exterior of the bag and strapped down with the awesome bungee that comes with the bag. (Note, the bag does not come with a water bladder, though it will support one. I did not have a bladder loaded in the bag with all the stuff I mentioned.) I've had the bag a few days now and I like it. It is comfortable and I hardly even notice it's there. Definitely one can see that thought and care went into producing the bag. If I had it to do over again I would buy the same bag but I might upgrade to the 10L version, just so as to have a little bit more room to work with. The Lichen color is OK. Color really wasn't a factor for me. In the photo it looks sort of ACID YELLOW, but in person I think a better color description might be PEA GREEN. It seems to complement my khaki bike shorts though!
