This is an awesome piece- a little heavy at 925 g. for my size L, but there's a lot of insulation (140 coreloft) and it is really windproof- the combination makes it much warmer than you'd think. The hood has no retractor adjuster, a flaw, but a minor one as the hood's not huge, so it stays out of your vision anyway. Quality is typical arcteryx high standard. Comfort is superb.

Can't beat the "bird"
This is yet another of Arc'teryx jackets I bought either for myself or my wife, and just like every other Arc'teryx jacket, this one is top of the line. As with all products from the "bird", this one is expensive as well, but that's the cost of a great design and top notch quality. The moment you put this jacket on, you start feeling the cozy warmth that this piece of clothing is providing for you. I have dawn 800 jackets, and they don't feel as warm as this one, and definitely not as quickly as this one. Weight wise it is probably a tad heavier than dawn jackets, but it is probably due to the super comfortable storm hood. If I were to name one feature of this jacket that makes it the best jacket ever, it would be the hood. Absolutely nothing comes close to the warmth and the comfort of this hood. My only issue with this parka is the fact that it is not long enough to wear over a suit, as it leaves about an inch of the suit jacket uncovered, which kind of looks silly. But if suit and Arc'teryx don't mix in your world, then no other jacket I have ever had comes even close to this one!!!

Urban Look & Protects Your Hips
I just got delivery of my husband's jacket and we had the perfect NYC weekend to test it...cold,cold.cold days. So it looks great -it has an urban look ,warm, comfortable, great wrist- wind protection-nice hood and enough room around the shoulder areas. He loves it and on one of those real cold days he wore the Arcteryx Atom Lt under the Arcteryx Khuno Parka...it needs the extra layer if the temperature is under 15F..we did the test. Otherwise great workmanship and quality, wind stoper as was promised. It is a close to perfect fit at the bottom and getting in and out of a car you must remember to unzip but I guess that is something that should be looked at by the Arcteryx think tanks- as it is just totally perfect fit leaving no room or very little room to move in and out of a car or when you want to sit down wearing the coat. It is a great coat/jacket/parka and i wish they would have an even longer version for men.

Men's Khuno Parka is the new style this winter! It uses the windstopper fabrics and fills coreloft fabrics. This coat help us to preserve heat. I like the logo on the clothes and the concise design. Like it? Try it!
