Arc'teryx Men's Venta Pants
Alpine pursuits demand that you be flexible enough to meet the weather of the day, and the Arcteryx Men's Venta Pants perform in a wide range of temperatures and weather. These lightweight soft shell pants are fully windproof thanks to their Windstopper fabric. Arcteryx backs the windproof material with a light tricot for comfort and added insulation value, but these hiking pants are designed for aerobic activities like hiking, trekking, alpine climbing and mountaineering. Thigh vents help blow off steam when your heart starts pounding and help to keep these breathable mountain pants comfortable in moderate temps, too. The trim fit, articulated design and gusseted crotch promote unrestricted movement as you scramble to the summit, while their durable construction takes the bite out of the weather when you are working the belay or trekking over the pass. Arcteryx has you covered with all-mountain utility in the Venta Pants for men.

It's very cool softshell pants, it could prevent wind well and be breathable at the same time, I bought it for winter,But it 's thinner than I thought, I have to wear warmer baselayer or middlelayer inside. Anyway, it's a great pant. Moreover, it fits me very well and looks so cool, I like its design in appearance.

Incredible softshell pant
Incredible softshell pant. Built with Windstopper and interior lining is very warm. This is warmer than any other softshell I've had, including the Arcteryx Gamma MX. I am extremely impressed and satisfied. Expensive, but worth ever dime if you find yourself doing a lot of winter ski tours and winter climbing.

The light insulation is great... adds some warmth but not heavy....perfect for hiking in the mountains, esp those windy days...beyond what I expected.

Great climbing pants
Sort of a soft hardshell or a hard soft-shell material. Great fit, terrific detail and construction.
