Flattering hiking pants
This is my 3rd pair of Rampart pants. It's hard to find them in a size 4, they sell out quickly for a good reason. It's hard to find flattering hiking pants, these actually fit well and are really comfortable. I have worn them with and without a baselayer, worked well in 60 and 28 degree weather.

I have them on right now
Fantastic pair of pants. I bought two pairs last spring and never wore anything else since. I do mostly hiking and also do travel, and these babies proved to be as reliable as able to get the compliments all over the place. They are light weight, lightly waterproofed, wrinkle free --your name it. If only one thing I'd like to add to their next time around it would be a secure pocket. No? I'll just get a purse instead of a different pants :-)

Perfect sailing pant, unless you're tall
I wanted a pair of these pants for summer sailing in the Northwest (they're light, stretch enough for good deck scrambling, dry fast, and keep the sun off), for which they're just perfect. Unfortunately, they only come in one inseam, which isn't remotely close to the 35" I need. Boo hoo -- because Arcteryx women's clothing has a superb fit (I wear their 8, and it fits as well as if not better than most of my off-the-rack office clothing!), but only when they make lengths. Why, oh why, can't these manufacturers just add the extra fabric? It's easy enough to have pants hemmed up. But if they're too short, long-legged women are SOL.

Great fit. Comfortable. Looks good. This is my second Arc'teryx pants (basically same cut and style, but this one is lighter weight. Other pair traveled/washed well, so I assume this will be the same, but dry quicker. Love them both. Only drawback is that they only come in one length. I wish they had a "tall" option. Length is OK, but just on the edge of being too short (I'm 5'8").
