Burton Men's Field Jacket
A basic rule of thumb when measuring the cool factor of something is, if Nicolas Muller and Kevin Pearce both back something, it must be pretty legit. Both riders have put their stamp of approval on the weatherproofed Burton Field Jacket. Burton Field Jacket and Pants
I'm using this set for two seasons and very sutisfied. Very comfortable has many pockets, never getting wet even on the "piste showers". Good items for very resonable price.

Sweet snowboard & street jacket, runs large
I bought this jacket to wear only on the street, e.g. at home in SF and on trips to NYC, Boston, Chicago, and other cold weather cities. Wanted something that was wind/waterproof but looks East Coast trendy/fashionable and NOT like sporty snowboard gear, unless you're a rider too and could pick up on it upon close inspection. This jacket fit the bill exactly, can wear it with business clothing, even with a suit and tie (I got the true black color which is actually grey with a sweet fabric grain pattern). Warm and insulated but not bulky. 20mm waterproof will take whatever a city and most mountains can dish out. Zips all the way up to your nose w comfy zipper guards so it doesn't sratch your face and neck. Microfleece pockets are sick. It's a high-end jacket w everything and a little attitude and rider flavor. Pit zips and chest vents are key to keeping temperature regulated as you go from being outdoors to in and back out on busy city days. I normally wear large in Burton's AK line to fit my shoulders, but the Large in this jacket was huge! Had to return it for a Medium, and that fits the shoulders perfectly but is still huge for me in the midsection (I'm a size 32-33 waist). Looks totally fine on the mountain, a tiny bit large for street but not very noticeable. Overall worth every penny, esp. for the versatility. I love that it has four front pockets + 2 side-entry pockets which is the most i've seen on any jacket. Can store my neck gaiter, extra goggles, pass/lip balm, phone, board tool, keys, trail maps, etc. and it still has an internal pocket for wallet and ipod.
