Great for skiing
Wore this coat skiing in killington last weekend. Loved how long the sleeves were and that it is completely windproof. The underarm vents are also great when you get going so you don't have to shed layers. I'm a little over 5'11" and its extremely hard to find sleeves long enough; this jacket has them! It's also great for us tall ladies who have issues avoiding an exposed torso. I'm pretty slender and the medium has plenty of room for a hoodie underneath. One MINOR complaint is that its a little bulkier than it looks in the pic so if your interested in showing off your waist line, this prob won't do it.
I'm always searching for Jackets that fit the long length of my arms. This Jacket fits perfectly! My wrists always get cold in the winter due to my jacket sleeves being too short. I decided this year I was going to find a jacket that did just that. And I did! The longer sleeve length allows me to reach for things without the length changing from regular to a 3/4 sleeve every time. Bring on the cold weather! I'm ready this year!
Great Jacket, covers the Bum so nice to wear with leggings. I generally wear a small, since the sizing is weird either 3,5 etc. I went with a 5. fits perfect If I had gone smaller it would've been too tight. Sleeves are a bit longer then I thought but got used to them. Love all the Pockets! Overall Great Jacket!! Fit is snug to body, has great details, and as always great quality thanks to Burton!
From Slope to Street and more...!
I bought this Burton TWC Jacket in a size Small late last year (in the dark brown/light blue color). I am appx. 5'7" tall & 115 lbs. The jacket's sleeves are quite long for being a size Small, which I enjoy, since I usually encounter the opposite problem as I have long-ish limbs! The body of this jacket is a bit roomy for me, but very comfortable because I tend to layer up in the winter. I can wear a few layers (ie: a long-sleeved tee, flannel button-up shirt, and thick sweater) and still have ample room to breathe and move freely in this jacket! The torso of this jacket is long and a sort of A-lined feminine shape. I find the cut very feminine & pretty. This coat is very warm (and I normally get cold VERY easily/quickly!) and I use it primarily for street wear. It also appears to repel stains as well as water and wind! It is the only coat I seem to need for winter--I automatically reach for it every time I go out. It is extremely versatile.
Pretty and Slim
A very pretty, feminine coat. But the sizes are pretty dead-on, so if you like to layer up, buy a size up!
