Burton Men's Driver X Snowboard Boots
Sketchball climbs and hairball descents will be a walk in the park with the power and precision of the Men's Burton Driver X Snowboard Boots. The most supportive boot in snowboarding, it delivers exceptional responsiveness through elements like the Dual Axis Power Spine backstay and the RAF tongue inserts, an option exclusive to the Driver X which allows you to fine tune the forward flex. The boot's outsole is Vibram EcoStep which uses 30% recycled material and flouts a Super Grip Toe, and rubber ice spikes for traction. Inside an Imprint 3X liner and Level 2 molded EVA footbed supply comfort, cushioning and support. All are coated with Aegis Antimicrobial treatment, so the only mold in your house should be in the refrigerator. The EVA midsole gets extra cushioning from B3 gel in the heel and extra precision from an ESS support shank. When its time to go full throttle, do it in the Driver X Snowboard Boots for men from Burton.

Good for Splitboarding
I bought these for splitboarding since a stiffer boot is better for skinning uphill (more efficient). They are stiff, but have nice cushioning inside, so they are still comfortable. The stiffness also equates to more responsiveness when turning on the downhill, making carving easier. I have size 13 US mens, normal "D" width, and often have to go to a size 14 in boots for a good fit, but these 13's fit me fine. My toe is right at the end of the boot, but it is not cramped. I have a 26cm wide board, and this boot works well with no noticeable toe or heel drag during carving (it is a low profile boot with less of a footprint than a regular boot of the same size). Laces are easy to use, but they seem delicate; I haven't had any problems with frayed or broken laces yet though.
great all mountain boots
good support and quick response for technical terrain.
Good boots
Really liking these boots for lift serve and splitboarding. Stiff and comfortable. Nervous about the lacing system, but no problems yet.
Fantastic boots with great support....!!!
These boots feel, almost like a ski boot ,type of stiffness, so they are great for riding on the toe-side of the board.I needed a boot that offered alot of lower leg support. These do the job, it seems like I can stay on the slopes alot longer now and my legs don't get tired as quickly..
Fantastic!
Been boarding since I received my Burton 145 Elite in 1986. Tried countless combinations of equipment. Being old school, going big & fast, needing immediate board response, these are the best you can get. Very stiff, but very comfortable, out of the box, wore them for 6 hrs of back country, no issues. Only concern, if the laces break? Luv the upper & lower lace control, I just keep a cord for back up if they break or get cut.
