Made of 8.5-ounce flame-resistant canvas, an 88% cotton / 12% high-tenacity nylon blend, it has a loose seat and thigh and sits slightly below the natural waist for a comfortable fit. The brass zipper fly has Nomex zipper tape and the high-tension waist snap closure is arc resistant. It also has a cell phone pocket, utility pocket, left leg hammer loop, triple-stitched main seams, and a 19-inch leg opening that fits over work boots.

Comfortable. Very happy after several uses and launderings.
I work at a very physical job, exposed to a lot of sharp edges and dirty surfaces. These FR Carhartts are holding up extremely well. I haven't torn them yet, as I would have were I wearing my Nomex coveralls. I am a lot more flexible and am not overheating as I was in my FR coveralls. I would like to have a snap closure on the cell phone pocket for added security, although I have not lost my phone from this pocket. I will definitely be buying more of these, as will my co-workers.
