The Carhartt Ripstop Cargo Short for women is as durable as it is comfortable. Made of 6-ounce, 50% cotton/ 50% nylon lightweight ripstop fabric, it resists tearing for long-lasting wear. It features a 12-inch inseam, deep front tool and utility pocket, two side cargo pockets with zipper closures and two back flap pockets with hook and loop closures. It also has a lower mid-rise and contoured waistband to eliminate gapping in the back.

comfortable, good fit
very nice shorts. They do run small, as others have said. I'm usually a 6 and I ordered a 4. They fit well. The front tool/phone pocket is weird but I tuck it inside. The length is a bit long but I roll the bottoms and they look great.

Great fit, love the
Very flattering fit and the fabric feels like it will be "fresh-looking" through many many washes. I agree, they are a little big in the waist.

Super Shorts, Super Price!
My husband is the Carhartt fanatic in our family. I was looking for a longer pair of shorts and guess who had them? Carhartt! Fit is good but need to wear with a belt to keep them from slipping a bit. I love them and love Altrec's price on them; the best I found.

Comfortable, functional & flattering
The material is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but the shorts are very comfortable and attractive. These are probably the most comfortable and attractive shorts I have ever owned.

great shorts in longer length
These shorts are great for hiking or just hanging out. Not too heavy, with nice shape that sits low on the hips. I ended up returning these and getting a smaller size because I found these run a little big in the waist.
