Excellent Quality & Price
This jacket fits great and is true to size. This was a gift for my father for a fishing trip. He is 5'9", but around 195. We bought him a large despite his round belly and it fits perfect everywhere. Performance is great. He wore it recently out in a downpour and he stayed dry. The color is exactly what it shows on the site and he is extremely happy with it. It is comfortable and fits over clothes nicely. The price was well worth it and the brand speaks for itself. We anticipate this lasting a long time!
PFG Aermican Angler
Great product and fair price. Recommand for all fishermen for all weather. Wind prof and flexibilty is a plus. Water ressistance was the greatest advantage.
The major concern I have with this coat is the hood. It does not roll up and stow away when not in use. The hood will get wet when not in use. They should have added a strap, zipper or something to allow it to be rolled up.
Columbia PFG Jacket
I purchased this jacket to go along with the PFG bibs. I wanted something to wear during the warm weather months. The jacket is extremely lightweight and breathable. I have used it in some driving rain and did not get wet. The shell material is not the same as the titanium line. It is omni-tech so the longterm durability is still in question. For the moment, it works nicely. The jacket and especially the bibs are fairly large in size. I am 5'-11" and weigh 180. The Large size works well for the jacket but the bibs large are still really big. I kept them anyway because the inseam was right for my height. The only complaints I have are with the pockets and the zipper. The pockets do not have a zipper close (just a snap). They are not very waterproof designed like they are. And the main zipper on my jacket has begun to lose teeth after only a few months. It won't be long until I can not use it any more for this reason. This was a nice attempt at reasonably priced lightweight rain gear that is going to fall a little short due to the zipper issues.
