Columbia Men's PFG Freezer Polo Shirt

great, useful, does what it says
wore this shirt on an 11 mile hike: 2000ft elevation gain, carrying loaded daypack, hot day in Sierras, climbed granite boulders, ran out of water, but the shirt kept me cool. great ventilation design. I wear a large, but the medium worked just fine. I liked the zip pocket for keeping keys and drivers license in.

Much better than most.
One of the better made polo shirts on the market for strenuous use. Comfortable and looks good.

Great shirt
Purchased this for my husband because we have very good luck with Columbia products. I had seen this shirt on a neighbor and knew my husband would like one as well. The fit is quite roomy and we had to order an L rather than an XL and a M might have worked as well. He likes the zippered pocket, the breathing vents at the shoulders and I like how he looks neater than in their button down fishing shirts. Great shirt!

A Bit of a Disappointment
I have many articles of Columbia's clothing that I love so I bought 3 of these. Unfortunately I didn't find these up to Columbia's normal high standards. The shirts run quite large (I'm 6'2", 190 lbs normally wear an XL but these were far too big for me), the material is quite heavy for a microfiber so feels weighty in the heat and perhaps most annoying, Columbia has sewn a thick, plastic label into the middle of the back of the shirt that keeps the rear vent together. If you wear a day pack, this tags rubs and proves very irritating. Sorry Altrec. I love your products but in good conscience I cannot recommend this shirt.
