Love this hoodie...
...it is very comfortable, soft and warm. It's a favorite among my large collection of hoodies and I wear it all the time. The black one pictured with gray sides is what I ordered, but I received the black one with the logo on the chest. I don't really mind, even though I already own this same exact hoodie. Now I can wear my existing one out and still have a back-up. Would have been cool to own the one I thought I was ordering though.
My boys live in this
If you buy clothes for athletic teen or pre-teen boys, you know there are two problems: 1. The clothes are made to fit a large frame. 2. It's almost impossible to find a shirt without words or a logo splashed all over it. Yes, this shirt does have a bold Columbia logo on it, but to me, it just looked like a cool design. My brain didn't immediately think of a brand like I do when I see the Nike swoosh. The boys love the soft, cozy fabric. The fit is fitted, not sloppy, which is wonderful for my slim boys. They tend to swim in clothing from the usual places, so it's nice to see them in comfortable shirts that don't overwhelm their frames. The sweatshirts have come through the wash very nicely. I have to coax this off my middle son to get it there, however! He honestly has it on every day, if he can get away with it.
Feels so soft and comfy, I think it will get a lot of use this winter. I like to put my son in bright colors so it's easy to spot him on the playground, etc. so I chose "flame." According to the pics, "flame" should have a tree on it; instead, the one I got has the Columbia logo. I don't really care that much but accurate would be better.
