I recently purchased this shoe not sure of what I was doing given that I have never purchased a Columbia shoe before. I have been running for 25 years and was looking for a couple of pairs of shoes to train in and run in some trail races. I am VERY impressed! Both pair of shoes came promptly, they fit perfectly and having run in them, I can now say "WOW!" I have a large foot for my size. I am only 5'10" but where a size 13 running shoe. Most shoes for running run small, so I always order a larger size and this was my chance on a brand I have never used. They fit very nicely and seem to provide the traction I need. The laces snug up nicely without having to double tie them. I will for when I race just to make sure, but for training purposes, they are perfect. Thank you for offering these shoes and at a very good price!

Wow what a pleasant surprise this shoe turned out to be. Had my eye on this one since it came out and finally decided to get a pair. 14 miles right out of the box and they were superb for me. Most of my runs are a combination of asphalt and fire road and this shoe was great on both. The fit was really a pleasant. Not only did this tech lite heel material/design keep my heel locked in, as advertised, but I also found the midfoot and toebox to be a very comfortable and secure fit for my narrowish foot. Another surprising aspect was how plushly cushioned this shoe felt on the road, yet when I hit the fireroad, they didnt feel at all unstableand this shoe rides really light too. Amazing. How did they do that? Not sure, but I do know that I am very happy I purchased this shoe (finally) and Ill likely be getting more.

Light Sturdy Show
Very nice construction and build quality. It's got good support and heel padding so it's not a "Minimalist" Shoe, but it's very light- much like a Nike Free shoe. I received the Grey and Red show, it's not the prettiest shoe out there but it's not ugly either

Men's Ravenous Trail Running Shoes
I ordered these for training up to the Leadville 100. So far, they have performed well. They have a fair amount of cushioning in the heel--so, depending upon whether you are a minimalist or not, this is either good or bad. I run on a lot of rough trails, or areas where there are no trails at all. So, I need a shoe with a tough sole to protect my feet and also one with traction. This shoe provides both.

Excellent Running Shoe
I've put about 75 miles on these shoes and am very impressed. They fit great and are very light. Grip is great in the snow and mud. Only complaints are that the mesh does not keep out water well and the shoestrings have given me hassles since day one. Would still highly recommend to anyone!
