Columbia Men's Switchback 2 Low Trail Running Shoe
Sporting a revamped upper for spring, the Men's Switchback 2 Low Trail Running Shoe from Columbia Sportswear provides low-profile support that looks as good on the street as it does on the singletrack. Our revolutionary new Techlite heel piece moves dense stabilizing elements to the outside (putting softer material directly against your foot) to provide a comfortable, supportive fit. At the midsole, full-length Techlite provides plenty of cushioning and lightweight flex over uneven terrain. Omni-Grip traction on the rubber sole grips rocks, dirt, mud and just about anything else you encounter on off-road adventures. Breathable mesh and a soft material in the flex zones mean superior comfort with great agility and ease of movement. The gusseted tongue keeps out rocks, sticks, and dirt while light, sinewy overlays offer additional protection without adding unnecessary bulk.

Great buy
These shoes are great however, they seem to run larger than the other Columbia shoes I have purchased. They are very comfortable and the other Columbia shoes I have held up very well! This is an attractive shoe too!
Good shoe, well built, inexpensive...
This is a well built shoe. I chose it over the NorthFace trail-running shoe I had previously, which was very comfortable but not well constructed. The Columbia shoe is comfortable and very light weight. Seams are stitched, not just simply glued, and it feels like a quality product. My only issue is that the back of the shoe is tall, goes up higher on my Achilles than other running/trail shoes and rubs a little bit. But, that's my only complaint. Other than that, which isn't a major issue, the shoe is great.
