Columbia Women's Double Back Ski Pants
Like a whale tail for the winter months, the only softness you'll expose wearing these hip huggers is the soft fleece back gaiter that is attached to the Columbia Women's Double Back Ski Pants. Nothing kills the mood like a wad of melting snow down your pants but you still want the on-trend look of low rise ski pants. Columbia Sportswear has solved that problem with the innovative and oh-so-cozy removable waist gaiter. Made from waterproof breathable Omni-Tech polyester stretch fabric, the exterior remains weatherproof while the interior is printed with tiny silver Omni-Heat dots to reflect body heat. Filled with a layer of toasty 60g polyester insulation, these snow pants have an adjustable waist for a custom fit and articulated knees and internal stretch panels to keep you mobile. Leg gaiters seal against your ski boots to keep out the snow and zippered front pockets keep small essentials secure. Leave LA for the unadventurous low-landers and head for the mountains of Mammoth in the ski and snowboard-ready Columbia Double Back Pants for women.

Great fabric, soft and warm
I've been looking for ski pants that are soft and don't make crunching sounds as I move. These are perfect- soft inside and out, slightly stretchy, with no crunch or stiffness in the fabric. And they are super warm!

I ordered these in S (I am 5'8'' and 130lbs) based on a previous review and I have to say that I am very glad I did. Even the small fits a bit large- in the sense that I would prefer it a bit more snug. But I am happy with the length. The only thing I would add to the pants would be some thigh vent zippers. I can imagine how one can get super hot in these while active on the snow and would just love some cooling option. But all in all, love the pants- they fit nicely on the bum (for all the curvy ladies) and the pants are not a s bulky as I expected them to be from the images posted on the page.

There is a big range from size large to medium. Large was huge on me and medium a little snug..The lining is warm, although odd looking, does a good job insulating.
