Columbia Women's Hexbreaker Long Down Jacket
Ready for a blustery winter walk along the lake or down to the lake-side cafe, the Columbia Women's Hexbreaker Long Down Jacket offers a long, contoured fit and plenty of warmth. Columbia Sportswear gives the ladies a high-quality parka that doesn't make them look like an overstuffed marshmallow by filling this winter coat with 700 fill goose down and lining it with the reflective power of an Omni-Heat interior. Omni-Heat uses tiny printed silver dots to give you 20% more warmth than ordinary liners. This winter jacket has a down-proof nylon shell with an Omni-Shield finish to help resist moisture and protect from the occasional spilled hot cocoa (with marshmallows, of course). An insulated hood, adjustable cuffs and a drawcord at the waist all help seal in warmth and four zippered pockets give your hands a fleecy place to hang out and a secure spot for small essentials. Breaking down the barriers between warmth and style, the Columbia Hexbreaker Long Down Jacket for women is a fashionable, cozy compromise.

Very Sleek but Runs Small
The coat is very sleek, non-bulky. Very fashionable. No Michelin man coat. I've been looking for a coat that's warm ( I live in New England; Believe me the winters are bad!), but not too overwhelming for my petite body. For reference, I am 5 ft, 105 lbs., 34 C bust, shoulders 15 " across, my arms maybe around 15" long, and waist 25-26". The Hexbreaker coat is a bit tight for my rack. I can zip it with a lightweight cashmere sweater. However, it feels tight and there's no possible way I could layer with a fleece jacket or another sweater. The bungee cord in the center of the jacket was not needed. When I took the sweater off the coat no longer felt tight. The coat comes 5 inches above my knee. A bit shorter than I wanted. It felt warm. But since I knew it was too small I didn't test it outside. The hood is awesome. This is exactly one of the reasons I purchased it. It is adjustable. just pull the strings. The best part is there is a velcro latch at the back of the hood to make it smaller. Yeah! So, it actually fits my small head! Without this feature I couldn't see anything as it comes down 3 inches in front of my eyes. There are two zippered pockets for your hands and a small zippered pocket above the breast. There is a small zippered pocket inside the coat. Another great feature is the velcro on the sleeves. Without the velcro the sleeves cover my hands completely. With the velcro I can set the sleeves at my wrists. Not sure if I am gonna get the Hexbreaker coat in a small or see if the North Face Metropolis coat is a good fit. I wish their triple C coat was just a tadbit shorter 47" is way too long :( I might get the small Hexbreaker as I am very impressed with the features of the coat and the stylish fit. But am a bit worried that the sleeves in a small will be too long as the extra small sleeves I can just get by with....

Great down Jacket,Fits true to size and looks very feminine because of the cinched waist which I love! Coat is good quality. Have yet to test out it's warmth but just from wearing it in the house it seems like it will be a warm winter coat. Moreover, It looks so cool in appearance. I like it very much.
