I bought these board shorts in a hurry before a trip to Greece, ended up having to send them back for a bigger size. They definitely do run a bit small. Even now, with the size I have, they're a little tricky to remove when they're wet-- maybe it's just my hips. That said, the quality seems great and I like that they have pockets, even though I haven't used them yet. The velcro/drawstring deal is also a bit more secure than other board shorts I have tried, and I'm pleased with the length. In all, I'd say these shorts depend on your body type and you may have to try a few sizes to get the right fit.
