Great jacket!!
I live where it rains everyday. So I wanted a longer, fitted jacket. This one is perfect. Fits mid thigh and fitted through the waist for a slimming look. I got the dark blue one and it's a nice shade with classy stitching. Totally recommend this jacket!!
One of the best purchases ever
I bought this for a Spain trip I took with my sister and I really like it. It stops wind and is very warm when used with a patagonia ultra light down jacket, and it does an excellent job of keeping the rain out. I bought a large (which was a size bigger than I normally wear) to put over my extra slim down jacket and it fit perfectly. The build material is very high quality and the sky blue color I purchased looks fantastic. I wish I had bought another one for my sister while it was still on sale because I got a very good deal on it.
Quality
Have not had to wear it in a downpour, but blocks the wind nicely and water was beading in a light rain. Quality product would definitely buy again. Does run a little small. Returned the large for an extra large and that fits, without being overly roomy.
It worth your money
It was my first purchase on this website, but not the first of Columbia outwear. My first time shopping experience was great. I have received a discount for creating an account with Altrec.com and decided to use it right away. Reviews were helpful, and I was looking for something with longer length, and color red! This red raincoat looks very fashionable and I already got several complements on it. It has good wind protection, and it will keep you warm on a cool rainy day. Double-sided (up and down) zipper is definitely a plus, both for driving in a car and/or walking. I cannot say enough good words about the quality of material, but if you ever had Columbia you won't settle for less. I will definitely recommend this purchase.
I am glad I bought this.
I bought this for myself and mom for our cruise to Alaska and I am so glad I did! I got black for myself and light blue for my mom and light blue color is so elegant in person. My mom is very picky 'fashionista' and she loved the color and we both loved how LIGHT this jacket is. It's a great windbreaker/rain-jacket that doesn't make you sweat in the material yet keeps you very warm. Only draw back is the vecro on the sleeve. It's a good-buy for the price. And the shipping & delivery was SUPER FAST!
