Columbia Women's Reach The Peak Down Vest

I love this vest!
I have purchased many different vests: North Face, Patagonia, Royal Robbins. This is my absolute favorite. It is a little longer than the others - which I love - very lightweight and very warm!

Great Vest, But Sized Small
I got this for my wife and it is a great vest; very lightweight and very warm! And, service at Altrec is always great, which leads me to a problem with this item. As another reviewer mentioned, this vest is sized small. She said to order the next size larger than your usual. We discussed it, reviewed the item's sizing guide and decided to stay with her normal M. Error! It arrived today and, as reviewed, it is too small. Believe this - order the next size up! Heed the warning, love the vest! Altrec's excellent customer service is sending a replacement super fast, but I have to pay for the return.

Love it but sized too small
I love Columbia products. When will I learn that their sizing is just weird. I purchased this vest in a large thinking it would have ample room. It fit perfectly with a t-shirt but adding anything else with weight makes it way too small. I definitely would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally would.

This item seems to be of the normal Columbia quality, but the fit is extremely wrong. My wife is 5'6" and the small hangs below her butt. The length is simply excessive. Wish it would have worked!

This vest is very long. I am 5'9" and while it wasn't too long on me it didn't look quite right either. I'm not sure if it is the length or the stitching but the vest is not very flattering. It tends to make you look like a triangle (narrow top, wide at the base). Also the collar is very tall and stiff.
