The crocs are just the business for guys and gals that work offshore or in a marine environment. I use these crocs for off shift time on a boat in Russia. They run a little big so I can wear a pair of thermal socks with them. As they are like sandals they are perfect for slipping on and off when entering from outside to the cabin areas. I recommend these for any environment that is wet and where you need to be swapping out footwear regularly and quickly. They beat regular sandals as they encase the toes allowing for some light protection and won't slip off when walking down a steep set of steps. (Sandals are usually prohibited offshore for this reason). Being light and plastic they stand up to all abuse and don't weigh down the travel bag. I recommend them also for flying long trips for the same basic toe protection and easy fit.

Good for lounging...
They looked really weird at first since they are so wide. But boy, aren't they light but comfortable. Walking in this pair of Croc is amazing. The strap though could use a little work. I usually wear shoes of size 8 and they are fitting me well. However, I can't adjust the strap enough to tighten them. Also, I drive a stick. Not recommended for driving...
