DaKine Duel Laptop Backpack

It's a nice lightweight backpack. Comfortable, although I haven't had the chance to wear it for hours yet. Good quality, nice material, zippers work easily. It is nice and small, and that's what I was looking for. If you don't want one hanging far off your back, this is it. The laptop pocket is meant to be only for the laptop, so that means there's only 1 large pocket. The Insulated cooler pocket is nice, not huge though, and also not water tight. I poured water into it and it didn't leak, until i turned the backpack to the side, then it leaked out of the zipper. This is not a complaint, just FYI for those wondering (i was before I bought it). You could fit a few sodas or average sized water bottles, nalgenes will fit, but if you have one of the taller bottles, it won't. The small pocket (where you put pens and stuff) is small, because it is only above the cooler, it is sufficient though. One cool feature is that the pockets in there for your cell phone are stuff are fleece lined (or some kind of soft fabric, the same material as the sunglasses pocket). Again, none of the size comments are complaints, it's just what it takes to make the backpack compact. The original price is kind of high, but I think backpacks are overpriced in general, so I guess it is a relatively reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this backpack.

Looking for ultimate backpack
Never used Dakine products before, so did a leap of faith & was pleasantly surprised. Wanted decenct carrying capacity without the heavy padded straps & got that with this backpack.

Awesome Backpack
This is my second backpack from Dakine... and i love it... It has a huge capacity to store so many things and store them well. There is enough space for you laptop and books for school plus there are those extra compartments that you need for those extra things. love this backpack and you should not wait to get you one!!!

very convenient
I work in security in and industrial environment and use this bag on a daily basis to carry all of my gear. The straps on the outside are quite convenient to hang my hardhat and gas mask. The cooler pocket keeps a couple sodas cold for several hours. It's not huge, but generally fits everything I need in it.

Great back pack
Back pack is perfect for what i need it for. The color is a vibrant blue. Money well spent.
