great bag
i used this bag on a weekend camping trip, and i slept like a baby. perfect bag for minimalists. can't wait to use this again in a week.
Amazing value, great and versatile bag
I am SO happy with this bag. I had been looking for a very lightweight summer/versatile bag for some time, and took the plunge when I came across this bag and the reviews - plus I really wanted something quick for a June backpacking trip into the White Mountains. Figuring I could convince my friends to camp in the valleys instead of on the much colder ridge tops (it worked!), I didn't even bother to take a liner, and this bag performed VERY well in upper 30's/low 40's temps. I did also have an ultralight down jacket in the bag with me(and a warm dog beside me) but I'm not sure I needed it. In fact, I had a very pleasant night's sleep. While I usually sleep "clammy" in a sleeping bag, whether I am hot or cold, I didn't in this bag. I didn't wake up feeling sticky at all, so I think this bag was great for breath-ability. I am also excited that I will be able to couple this bag with a liner for basically all spring and fall and be perfectly comfortable. Great investment to shed a pound or two over my 20 degree bag. I love it!
Super lightweight!
Haven't used product yet, although will use for upcoming Europe backpacking trip (mostly hostel use). So lightweight, will fit easily into our backpacks!
Does the trick
Deuter built this product with lightweight in mind and comfort a distant second. But that's ok because they advertised that. I felt the back was a bit short and I'm only 5'8". It is super light, packs into a really small size and does the trick. Lows on my test overnighter were at 40 degrees and while I wasn't warm I wasn't freezing either.
Super,Light/Superlight!
This little guy is superlight! No joke. It packs into a little bag not much larger than a Nalgene and weighs almost nothing. The bag is well suited for summer or mild climates. I am a slim 6-4 and fit into it ok. Be aware that this bag is not super lofty at all but it works well for it's intended use. I would recommend it.
