Looking for the perfect ski-touring backpack
I ordered this pack because I was looking for the perfect Ski-touring back and already have a Deuter Bicycle pack that I love. When I received the Guide 35 pack I found that the pack was well made, nicely designed for travel, but didn't think the pack was well designed for holding my skis. There is no lock on the ski carry straps, making it difficult to secure skis. I think if you tie the skis at their tips the pack would work well and would recommend it. But, I decided not to keep the Deuter and am still in search of the perfect pack.
