Bought these for my first cycling tour this summer. Don't have much to compare them to except backpacking equipment. These worked great though. The trip was 6 days and had no issues with the packs. I liked all the pockets and features. Rear water bottle pockets were good, set-up originally took a little work to get just right but once set-up. They were a breeze for the whole trip. Comes with rain cover but I did not need it fortunately. Just have a light mist for 1 day and everything was dry. Paired these with the from LR models and had more room than needed.

In general great bags, not perfect for my purpose
The adjustment bar to push the bag towards the back is not enough to prevent my heels to hit the bag. Since I use the bags often for shopping a handle to carry the bag would be great. Haven't yet used them on a tour, but I think will be great with the many pockets, probably very water proof too. Easy to attach and detach, the hooks make them safe so they don't jump off on a bumpy road.
