Evolv Optimus Prime Rock Climbing Shoes

Awesome!
I just got this shoe a few days ago, 12.5 is my street shoe size and I ordered these in 12.5 and they fit great. The performance level is amazing as well, I was climbing in a pair of cheap Mad Rocks before I bought these, now that I've started using Evolv, I can feel the difference.

This is Evolve's high performance downturned climbing shoe designed by Chris Sharma. For a shoe of this type (specialized for steep hard climbing) it is exceptionally comfortable and versatile. I often see beginner-intermediate climbers using this shoe and having fun -- which says a lot! Try another company's "secret weapon" model on anything but the gnar-gnar and you will feel like your big toe is about to break. The key to this comfort is a less asymetric last while creating an aggressive downturned shape that stays through the life of the shoe. This model also features a deep high volume heel cup which fits and performs very well for me. The Optimus Primes have helped me step it up on gently overhanging to severely overhanging terrain - thanks Evolv!

Amazing!
The Optimus Prime is the most solid, stiff, and consistent fitting shoe I have ever put on. The shoes won't stretch, flex, or lose their downturned profile as much as others due to the synthetic material and rubber wrap around the shoe. Amazing edging and heel hooking capabilities.

Best Shoe Ever!
These shoes are perfect for everything! I climb V7's and 8's indoor and they are by far the best shoe I've ever used. They are also great for routes of any sort. They're also incredible outside! They are extremely sticky and aggressive and will support your weight on the smallest of footholds. AWESOME SHOE!!

I can climb stuff I couldn't before
I previously only had big wall shoes and have gotten into bouldering. A little tougher to get a lot of contact for smearing than my other shoes, but I expected that. I can definitely climb stuff on the bouldering wall I couldn't before. I think it edges just fine for me. I wear a size 14-15 street shoe and got these from altrec because they actually have them in 13.5, which curl my toes the slightest amount but seem to be just fine. Climbing on the tiny crystals has always been tough for me with my big feet but these do it without a problem.
