Filson Women's Northern Quilted Jacket

Great Addition to Wardrobe
This jacket is a great weight. It does not feel bulky. This sizes are generous. I am 5'5" and weigh about 145, and the medium was a perfect fit with the sleeves turned up once (which is normal for me on my clothes with long sleeves). I do have a waist line, so I used the buttons on the back of the coat to cinch the waist slightly. It is a very nice detail whether you cinch the waist or not. I ordered the taupe color and the picture is accurate. Taupe is by no means a rich, dark brown. I see myself having this jacket for years to come. It is a nice staple in my closet whether I'm dressing up for work or wearing jeans around town.

versatile jacket
This jacket slips on easily over a t-shirt or lightweight fleece. I'm 5'9'' and normally a size 10, and I find the body and sleeve length of this jacket just right in the size medium. The quality is excellent. It's lightweight and doesn't wrinkle, so it's good for travel. I'm enjoying it very much, and think it will be a great 3-season jacket for Vermont. I have the green and love it!

Warm and Light
Love this new filson light jacket! It's very warm for it's weight. Fit is perfect and flattering for me (XL for 5'10" and 155). Sleeves are long, but will cover your mitten tops! I especially like the handwarmer pockets which are sewn up high on the outside edge so your keys, etc. don't fall out.

Lovely jacket but large! I am returning it for an extra small. This is a new company for me, but I lke their products.
