Five.Ten Anasazi VCS/ V2 Climbing Shoes

Near perfect shoe
I've experimented with three or four different shoes and to date this shoe is head and shoulders above anything else I've tried. I use it for everything indoor/outdoor boulder, sport, trad. Pros Smears Great Pointy but not too pointy Great shape for pivoting on holds Edges well when new Some toe downturn but not too much Great snug heal Extremely comfortable even in smaller sizes Relatively sensitive Cons It's a Hot shoe, my biggest gripe Synthetic, it will smell bad Straps are a bit long, esp if you have a narrow foot Doesn't edge so well once the soft rubber has worn the right angle off the edge I wear street shoe size 10 (always) I'm wearing a 9.5 in these. I can wear them for a number of hours so long as I'm moving around, probably only 20 mins or so if standing still. If you have a narrow foot I think you're going to want to downsize for sure or you're really going to have to snug the straps down and they will be long. I got 10s originally and ended up cutting the straps and downsizing. I'm contemplating even going down to a 9.

Fantastic for edging
The Anasazi's are the best all around shoes out there. They can toe in really well, as well as provide a very sticky heel hook. If you need a shoe that will always do the job the Anasazis are the way to go. I tried buying a size down but they were way to tight. I actually ended up buying a half size larger than my street shoe and they fit perfect now. I've heard that 5.10 recently changed their sizing so be careful when ordering. Overall they're fantastic though.

Great Shoe
This is my second pair of Anasazi Velcro shoes. Loved the first pair. I expect these will perform as well. Great for bouldering and sport climbing. Sized them the same as my street shoe and they fit well.

top of the line shoe
This shoe is great for gym climbing - velcro makes it easy on/off. Won't stretch like other shoes. Modern heel cup makes for a snug fit. Would suggest buying half size smaller than street shoe - designed to fit tight. Best all around climbing shoes for overhang slab climbing, big walling
