Go Lite Shangri-La 3 Shelter
Ultra-lite, expedition-ready, and simple to pitch, our Shangri-La 3 is a model of backcountry versatility. This 4 season teepee-style shelter sheds wind and weather brilliantly and can be used by itself, with the Shangri-La 3 Floor, or with the Shangri-La 3 Nest inner bug tent. You can pitch it with the micro-adjustable aluminum pole (included), on snow, over a paddle or ski pole, or hang it from a branch via its top loop. Dual roof vents provide excellent air flow, reflective stake out loops keep you from tripping in the middle of the night and the hydrophilic thread at the seams expand when wet-sealing the seams and eliminating the need for liquid sealant.

Light, Strong, Wind Stable
I was looking for a light weight shelter that is stable in high winds, allows two people plenty of room, the ability to sit up in, and easy to set up. The Shangri-La 3 is all of this. The shelter is well made. You will want to seam seal it and will want to use hikeing poles for the center pole. It only took me about a minute or so to set it up the first time in my back yard. This is an excellent product.
Very Nice light weight
I used it last night for the first time.It took a little longer to put up than a simlar free standing tent, but it'll get faster w/practice,the interior height was a plus,I used it with the nest,it would be a little handier with gear hooks or loft but other than that very nice
Nice product, some enhancements possible
I have this one for 2 years now, like 50 nights out. It is light, strong, sheds rain and wind very well. Some design shortcomings: no pockets and no interior loop to hang the nest. Nest must be used with pole.
