Go Lite Women's Virga Jacket

I wore this jacket on a recent backpacking trip to Olympic National Park in Washington State. Most of the trip was over[ca-st] or rainy, and on the second day I wore it all day in the rain: broke down camp in the rain, backpacked all day in the rain, set up camp in the rain, cooked and ate dinner in the rain. When I went to bed that night the shirt and pants I was wearing under my raingear were the only items I had that were still dry (rain pants were Sierra Designs Hurricane HP, also great). I found the jacket very breathable, though the temperature was cool so that might be a factor. It's kind of a funny fabric -- sort of rubbery on the inside. Size is generous, though I wouldn't go down a size.

Great lightweight jacket!
I was between sizes according to the GoLite size chart measurements so I sized up but ended up exchanging for a smaller size. Based on this experience, use the "S, M, L" size system and choose what you normally wear. Small fits great and leaves room to fit layers. Super lightweight!

Great product, great service
This jacket is aces for staying dry during hot summer months when you don't really want a liner. It slips on easily over a t-shirt or a fleece and has plenty of space for layers. Do be aware, though, that the second purple color is actually labelled tangerine, and is a bright orange. I was pleased because I paid attention to this and I wanted the bright orange color. And it is BRIGHT!
